Bert C. Michael was born in Sedgewick,
Kansas the 10th day of June 1885, while still a small child his
parents returned to Montgomery County, Indiana where he has spent the most of
his life. On April 29th, 1905 he was married to Kate Foster. The boy
Harold nine years of age is the only child. In his home life Mr. Michaels found
his greatest happiness. It has been a matter of common remarks how devoted he
has been to his good wife and their child. There also are l eft to mourn his
loss, his mother, Mrs. Alice Michaels, two sisters and two brothers, his father
