Mitchell - Guy Edward

Guy Edward MITCHELL died
at 3:30 yesterday at his home 810 John Street. He was 22 and had been
suffering from a severe case of tuberculosis for over a year. The young
man was born near Jamestown but moved to this city and has lived here
most of his later life. He joined the US Navy when he was very young and
only last year received an honorable discharge from that department. He
returned to Crawfordsville and has been in the city since that time
most of the period being in poor health. He was a member of the
Christian Church of this city, belonging to the loyal Sons a group of
workers in the church. He leaves besides the father, Mr. George W.
Mitchell and his mother, 3 brothers and one sister. The arrangements for
the funeral have not yet been completed. - transcribed by kbz
