Waynetown - Clair Lee Mitchell, 64, of Waynetown died early Saturday morning in Methodist Hospital at Indianapolis. Born March 20, 1915, near Elmdale, he was a son of Raymond and Lula Rodgers Mitchell.  A carpenter and fence builder by trade he lived in Elmdale and Wingate before moving to Waynetown two years ago.  He attended Wingate HS and was a member of the Pleasant Hill United Church of Christ at Wingate.  Surviving are five brothers, John and Charles of Wingate; Paul of Crawfordsville; Bill of Waynetown and ax of Mellott; two sisters, Mrs. Ernestine Fulwider of Crawfordsville and his twin sister, Mrs. Paul (Clara) Miller of Alamo; and several nieces and nephews.  Two sisters and an infant brother preceded him in death. Services were at 10:30 Monday morning in Thomas Funeral Home at Waynetown. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery, north of Elmdale. - typed by kbz
