Minnet- John Carless - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

John Carless Minnet died July 24 at the home of his nephew, Budd Kidwell two miles SW of here. He was born in Tennessee March 4, 1834 aged 75 years and 4 months. He came to Indiana with his parents in 1859 and remained here until God called him to the better land. He was united in marriage to Miss Anna Smith in 1881 who died in 1892. He had gone to meet father, mother, wife, brothers and sisters; to rest in his heavenly home where they know no sorrow. He leaves nieces and nephews and a host of friends to mourn his loss. Funeral services were held at the home at 9 Monday morning by Rev JD Ulay. Interment made  at Rowe Cemetery - transcribed by kbz
