The subject of this sketch Mrs. Rebecca MILLS was born
in Montgomery County, Indiana July 8, 1831, died March 3, 1900 aged 68 years 8
months 5 days. Her parents were Joseph and Sarah Lindsey. She was
married to Wm. H. Liggett April 3, 1857. To them were born 3 children,
Sarah J, Mary E and Warren. Sarah died at the age of 9 years. Mary aat
age 3 and Warren Liggett now resides at Indiana Mineral Spring, Warren
Co.. Her husband died oct 24, 1859. She was married to THomas Mills in
march 1862; to them were born 8 children, two of whom died in infancy
and one died after reaching womanhood. Those living are THomas Mills
living in Warren TWp., Mrs. Aaron Evans and Mrs. Laura Huskins of
Hoopeston Ill, mrs. Cora Crane and James MIlls of Pine Village. Besides
the bereaved husband she leaves a brother Oliver Lindsey of Alamo and a
sister Mrs. Elizabeth Wagoner of Attica. She was one of the oldest
residents of Warren Twp.
