MUNCIE – Miss Lulu Milligan, 94, of Muncie, died Wednesday afternoon in Woodland Nursing Home at Muncie. During World War I she was employed by the War Risk Department at Washington, D.C. and was later a court reporter at Portland and for a Crawfordsville newspaper. Miss Milligan was a member of the High Street United Methodist Church at Muncie and was a member of the Portland and Crawfordsville Business and Professional Women’s Club. Several nieces and nephews survive. Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday in Meeks Mortuary at Muncie. Burial will be in Green Park Cemetery at Portland. Friends may call at the funeral home. – jlr
