Waveland, June 19 -- Jean Milligan, 7-year-old dau. of Mr. & Mrs. Milford Milligan, a well known family here, died at the home of her uncle, Dr. DL Strong of Terre Haute, at 12 o'clock today. Death was caused by inflammation of the heart. As soon as the message was sent to Waveland, Mr. Milligan, a prominent lawyer here, left for Terre Haute where he will make arrangements for sending the body back to Waveland. Death was sudden asd was a great shock to the family as well as to the whole community here. The little girl was known to nearly every one in town. She is survived by her mother and father, and four brothers, the oldest of whom is 12 years. - transcribed by kbz
