Dorothy M. Milligan, 58 of 108 1/2 N. Erie, Rockville, formerly of Waveland died Monday morning in Turtle Creek Convalescent Center at Indianapolis. Her condition had been serious since March. A native of Crawfordsville, she was a daughter of Michael and Nellie Myers Fruits and was born Oct 22, 1910. She married Everett Deere. Her second marriage was Sept 11, 1935 to Harry B. Milligan at Danville, Ill. He died in 1963. Mrs. Milligan was a member of the First Chrisitan Church at Crawfordsville. Surviving are a son, Raymond Deere of Crawfordsville; two daughters, Mrs. Susan Haskett of Mooresville and Mrs. Rose Marie McGaughey of Vienna, Austria; 3 grandchildren and two brothers, Henry O and James A. Fruits of Crawfordsville. A sister and brother are deceased. Funeral services are at 2 p.m. Thursday at Machledt & Servies FUneral HOme, Waveland with Rev. Grover DeNeal officiating. Burial will be in Maple Ridge Cemtery. Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. - transcribed by kbz
