Mrs. Rose Miller, wife of Samuel Miller died at her home near Cherry Grove Tuesday evening at 8 o'clock. She had been ailing for a couple of weeks with heart trouble and nervous prostration, but on Tuesday was able to be up and around. Death came rather suddenly. She had three sinking chills, one on Monday and two on Tuesday. Mrs. Miller was about 50 years of age and besides her husband, leaves two sons, Bruce, aged 9 and Glenn Miller of Washington, DC. She leaves one brother but no sisters. She was a highly respected woman, being for 3 years a member of the Christian Church at Linden. She was also a member of the Royal Neighbors and the Daughters of Rebekah. The funeral will take place at the home at 2:30 on Thursday. It was put off in order the son might reach here from Washington in time to attend. The interment will take place at Mt. Pleasant cemetery 7 miles north of town. - typed by kbz
