Henry F. Miller, 68, for many years a plumbing
contractor in Crawfordsville died Wednesday afternoon at Culver Hospital
two hours after he had suffered a heart attack at his shop. Mr. Miller
had been in poor health for several months and came-to shortly after
noon Wednesday for the first time since Christmas. He had been in the
plumbing business here for the past 32 years. He was a member of St.
Barnards (sic - Bernard's) Catholic Church, the Knights of Columbus, the
Elks and Ben Hur Life. Mr. Miller was born at Indianapolis Oct 4, 1876
the son of Stephen and Josephine Miller. He was married to Anna Jane
Miller who died last July 9. Survivors include four children, Karl J,
New York City; John H, Harold F. and Mrs. Keith Batchelder all of
Crawfordsville; and two grandchildren, Drake M. Batchelder and Margot
