LADOGA – Harry C. Miller, 83, a farmer and fence builder all his adult life in Montgomery County, died at 11:50 a.m. Friday in Culver Hospital at Crawfordsville, where he had been a surgical patient the last two weeks. A son of Lewis and Missouri Terry Miller, he was born in this county, May 29, 1884. He was married in Crawfordsville to Anna Tobin on Jan. 26, 1906. Mr. Miller was a member of the New Market Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife, of Ladoga; three daughters, Mrs. Mary E. Ellis of Ladoga, Mrs. John Anderson of Avon and Miss Roslyn Miller of Ft. Wayne; five sons, Chester of West Lafayette, Paul of Jamestown, Leroy of Roachdale, Albert of Crawfordsville and James of Ladoga; 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Funeral services are set for 2 p.m. Monday at Gephart Funeral Home here, where friends may call after 2 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be in Harshbarger Cemetery. – jlr
