Miller - Edgar

Saturday, after we had gone to press, word came to us of the
death of Edgar Miller, at the residence of Samuel Reynolds on E.
Wabash Avenue, this city, of typhoid fever. The deceased was a
student at Wabash College and a son of A.M. Miller of Farmer's
Institute, Tippecanoe County. The funeral took place from the
residence of his father last Sunday afternoon.
Also: Departed this life at the residence of J.W. Reynolds of
Crawfordsville Nov 5, 1881 at 10:02 a.m. Mr. Edgar W. Miller,
aged 19 years 11 months and 29 days. Whereas: the dispensation of
the All Wise Providence has permitted one of our classmates,
Edgar W. Miller to be stricken down to death in youth, causing
much sorrow and regret to his class in Wabash College. Therefore
be it resolved that we hereby express to the bereaved family our
heartfest sympathies. Resolved that this resolution be printed in
the city and college papers and that a copy of the printed
resolution be sent to the parents of the deceased. Class of
'86.
