Waveland -- Henry Nelson Miles, 64 died at his home here Friday at 4:45  a.m. He had been ill for four weeks. He was a plumber and  carpenter for many years and life resident of Waveland. The son  of John and Mary Elizabeth Miles, he was born here Aug 6, 1885.  He married Goldie Alward Dec 12, 1907. Surviving are the widow; a  son, Norman of Lafayette; four daughters, Mrs. Jim Hester, Mrs  Melvin Huxhold, Mrs. Dorothy Cooper all of Waveland and Mrs.  Loraine Snyder of Portland Ore; a sister, Mrs. Lulu Nehr of  Seffner Fla; four brothers, Louis of Ft. Montgomery NY; Morris of  Winston Mont; Frank of El Paso, Tex and Harry of Waveland. -- typed by kbz

Henry Nelson MILES, 64, died at his home last Friday April 21  at 4:45 a.m. He had been ill for only 4 weeks following a severe  heart attack. During his life time residence in Waveland he  labored hard as a plumber and carpenter. Aug 6, 1885 he was born  to John and Mary Elizabeth Miles. he was married to Goldie ALWARD  on Dec 12, 1907. To this union were born six children, one who  died in infancy. Together with the widow; five children survive,  a son, Norman of Lafayette; four daughters, Mrs. Jim Hester; Mrs  Melvin Huxhold, Mrs. Dorothy Cooper all of Waveland and Mrs.  Loraine Snyder of Portland, Oregon; a sister, Mrs. Lula Hehr of  Seffner, Florida; four brothers, Louie of Ft. Montgomery NY;  Morris of Winston, Montana; Frank of El Paso, Texas and Harry of  Waveland and 18 grandchildren. T he Rev. EF Prevo conducted the  last rites Sunday afternoon from the Machledt Funeral Home at  2:30. Interment was made in Old Union Cemetery. - typed by kbz
