Allen B. MILES, son of Richard and Lucinda Miles
was born June 6, 1867 died aug 9, 1914, aged 47 years 2 months 2 days.
he was next the youngest of 8 children 5 brothers and two sisters all of
whom have preceded him in death except one brother, Grant. He was
married to Hettie B. Stephens Oct 18, 1894. To this union were born 5
children: Duley Lee, Golda, Walter, Zearn and Opal. All are living
except the oldest which died in infancy. He was a kind and loving
father, a true and devoted husband. He leaves the four children and
brother and faithful companion and many relatives and friends to mourn
his death. He bore his afflictions which were very great with great
patience and Christian fortitude. He was fully resigned to God's will
and expressed himself as willing and ready to go. Short funeral
services were conducted at the home by WJ Miles at 9:30 a.m. Aug 12,
1914. Interment at Masonic Cemetery.
