Raymond Middleton, 75, died S unday evening in his home on Rt. 3, Crawfordsville. He was a past director of Alamo Conservation Club and belonged to the American Legion at Crawf ordsville. He was a baker 50 years and owned and operated The Pastry Shop. He was a veteran of WWII. He was born April 23, 1906 at Crawfordsville to Earl and Adah Payton Middleton. He was married to Helen Servies Oct 23, 1933 at Crawfordsville. She survives. Also surviving are a son, Stephen Middleton, Rt 3, Crawfordsville; 3 grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Helen Bauer, Decatur, Ill and Mrs. Theron (Kathryn) McClure of Rt. 3, Crawfordsville. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with Rev. Dale Miller officiating. Friends may call 4-9 p.m. Tuesday. Burial will be in Masonic North Cemetery with military rites. Machledt & Servies Funeral Home is in charge of services.
