Waynetown, May 28 -- Burial services were conducted at the Masonic Cemetery Thursday afternoon for Maurice MIDDLETON of Chicago who passed away there Tuesday in St. James Hospital. Rev. Averan Pankins of Chicago accompanied the funeral cortege and officiated at the burial service. Mr. Middleton´s survivors include his wife, two daughters, Mrs. Edith Thomas and Mrs. Ivy Hightower, four sons, Eugene, Ralph, Merle and Lawrence Middleton all of Chicago, one sister, Mrs. Emma Smeltner and two brothers, Howard and Charles Middleton of Crawfordsville. Quite a number of friends and other relatives from Chicago and Crawfordsville attended the service. Mr. Middleton´s parents lived here at one time, their residence located where WW McClure´s home is now. - typed by kbz
