BLOOMINGDALE – Doris Marie Michki, 44, who with her husband owned and operated Gobbler’s Knob Country Store on U. S. 41, died at 6:30 p.m. Friday in the IU Medical Center at Indianapolis. She had been in failing health several years and seriously ill five months. Mrs. Michki was a member of the Rockville Christian Church. She was born on Oct. 31, 1928, in Sugar Creek Township, Parke County. She was a daughter of Ray L. and Flossie Glaze Floyd. She married William Michki on June 14, 1947. Surviving are the husband; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ray Floyd of Bloomingdale; a brother, Donald L. Floyd of Madera, Calif.; a niece and nephew, Melissa and Jeffrey Floyd of Madera, Calif., and several aunts, uncles and cousins. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday in Tudor Funeral Home at Rockville with the Rev. Harry McFadden officiating. Burial will be in Memory Gardens Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 5 p.m. Sunday. – jlr
