Linden Jan 13 -- The funeral of Bert MICHAELS 30, whose death occurred here Wednesday night at 930 will be held from the late home Friday afternoon at 1. Interment at Linden Cemetery. Cause of death was tuberculosis. He had lived in this city for a number of years and was always industrious Mr. Michaels was born in Sedwick Co KS. Besides the widow and son, Harold he is survived by his mother Mrs ALice Michaels two siters, Miss Lora of this place and Mrs. Joseph Freeman of Frankfort, and two brothers, Ray of west of here and Oly of the US Navy. - typed by kbz

"Linden" News -- Bert C. MICHAELS was born in Sedgwick Co KS 19 June 1885 while
still a small child his parents returned to Montgomery County,
Indiana where he has spent the most of his life. On April 29,
1905 he was married to Kate Foster. The boy Harold is 9 and is
the only child. In his home life, Mr. Michaels found his greatest
happiness. It has been a matter of common remarks how devoted he
has been to his good wife and their child. There also are left to
mourn his loss, his mother, Mrs. Alice Michaels, two sisters and
two brothers, his father preceded him in death.
