Fred MICHAEL, 77, retired farmer died June 29, 1960 at Waveland. He had been in failing health a years; seriously two weeks. Fountain County native, born Nov 9, 1882 to John and Laura Scott Michael. He was married in Covington to Daisy Lowe in 1925. She survives with a stepson, Kenneth Lowe; a sister, Mrs. Ida McCormick; several nieces and nephews. Six brothers are deceased. Services were held at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home; John Servies officiating; burial in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. - typed by kbz

Waveland - Funeral rites were conducted Saturday at 10 a.m. in Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland for Fred Michael, with Rev. C.N. McBrayer officiating. Pallbearers were Stanton Alward, Max Lowe, Alva Bruner, Guy Durham, Arthur Rice and Danny Rice. They also assisted with the flowers. N.R. Walker played music on the organ. Burial was in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery. -- kbz
