Metsker - Grace Cantrell

Mrs. Grace Lee Metsker, 77, died Saturday evening in Culver Hospital here. She had been hospitalized several weeks. Born Feb. 19, 1882, north of Danville, Ill., she was a daughter of William M. and Minnie Wells Cantrell. She married Alvin Milton Metsker Feb. 17, 1907, at Otterbein. He died Aug. 5, 1957. Mrs. Metsker lived her childhood at Otterbein and had lived in Elmdale since that time. Mr. Metsker was a painter. Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Jess Hodgin of Denver and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at 1:30 p. m. Tuesday at Bright Funeral Home with Rev. John R. Servies officiating. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home.
