Funeral services for Harry S. Meister, 409 Sheridan Ave., who was drowned at Lake Holiday Sunday when he fell from a pier while fishing, are announced for 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Bright Funeral Home. There will be Masonic rites with Dr. L. B. Howell in charge, and burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Meister was employed for 25 years at the R. R. Donnelley & Sons Co. plant here. For nine years he was an employe of the Dellekamp Stores and for the past two years had worked for the Pattison firm. Born Nov. 10, 1910, he was the son of Henry and Margaret Seals Meister. On Dec 24, 1933, he married Jessie E. Myers in Crawfordsville. He attended the Crawfordsville schools and was graduate from high school here. He was a member of Masonic Lodge No. 50, F & AM, and belonged to the Wabash Avenue Presbyterian Church. Survivors include the widow; two sons, Richard of Parker, Ind., and Don of Crawfordsville; a daughter, De Ann, a freshman in Crawfordsville High School; three grandsons, Kyle and Brian of Parker and Scott of Crawfordsville, and two sisters, Mrs. Harold Fortney of Brownsburg and Mrs. Amil Auer of Lapel. – jlr
