Dora Wilcox Meeker, 84, of 1911 Perrine street, died Friday afternoon at the Burnett Nursing Home after a short illness. Born in Montgomery County, she was married to Charles A. Meeker in 1888. He died in 1908. The couple moved here after their marriage and Mrs. Meeker had lived here since then. She was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church and the Eastern Star. There are no immediate survivors. – kbz

Funeral Notice -- Meeker, Mrs. Dora – Friends may call at the Bradshaw Funeral Home after 2 p.m. Sunday. Services there 2:30 p.m. Monday, Rev. J. Dayton McCormick officiating. Burial in Spring Valley cemetery. Eastern Star services at the funeral home at 7:30 p.m. Sunday. – kz
