Charles MEADOWS aged about 46 and well known as a sober industrious workman dropped dead on the farm of Frank Funk, for whom he was working today and although medical attention was speedily rendered the man was dead when the Dr. arrived. Meadows came to this community from Crawfordsville several years ago. He has a son in college in Iowa. The funeral services will be held here Tuesday. Charles Meadows was a former resident of this city. He was the father of Lester Meadows, now a freshman at Ames Agricultural College at Ames, Iowa. Meadows has relatives and friends here who will be shocked to hear of his untimely death - kbz
