The remains of Mrs. Margaret Messick, who died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Georgia Hampton, in southern Missouri, were brought here Tuesday for burial. Her two sons, Shelby, of Denver, Col., and Leslie, of Topeka, Kansas, accompanied the remains. Mrs. Kote English, of Des Moines, Iowa, arrived last Sunday and made the funeral arrangements. Rev. L. E. Murray, of Irving, was called to deliver the address. He was assisted by Rev. W. T. Brooks. We are indeed sad to know “Aunt Mag,” as we all knew her, is gone forever. She was long a citizen of Ladoga, and her friends number the entire community. Her mortal remains were laid to rest near those of her husband and son who preceded her several years ago.
