McSpadden - John

We are informed by James M. Simpson, of Ripley township, that John D. McSpadden of Alamo, committed suicide by hanging himself in his shoe shop last Tuesday morning. No reason can be assigned for the act, as his family relations were pleasant and happy, and he was laboring under no pecuniary embarrasment. He has been a peaceable, quiet citizen of that town for over twenty-five years. - Kim H
