While it is gay and festive with some, it is sad and sorrowful for others and we have to chronicle the death of Jerry Kersey, who died July 2d; his sufferings were brief but terrible. He was a leading member of the Society of Friends, and a highly respected citizen. Also WIlliard Endicot after a lingering illness died June 28th. The wife of Joseph MeNeilly, Senior, died of measles, July 7th.
