Waveland - Grace B. McMullin, 77 lifetime resident of Parke and Montgomery Counties died at 2:35 a.m. Tuesday (26 Jan) in St. Catherine Hospital, Whiting after an illness of 10 months. She was born in this community June 27, 1882, a daughter of Jacob and Cyrildia McCullough Mitchell and married George McMullen here in 1901. He and a daughter preceded her in death. Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Genevieve Ullin of Hammond; Mrs. Harrison Lowe of Crawfordsville and Mrs. Rosalie Fulwider, Russellville; a sister, Mabel Mitchell of Logansport; 5 grandchildren, six great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. McMullin was a member of the Byron Christian Church and Royal Neighbors Lodge of Waveland. Services are announced for 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Byron Church where the body will lie in state for an hour beginning at 12:30. Rev. John Servies will officiate and burial will be in Old Union Cemeterey here. Friends may call at the Machled & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland after 3 p.m. Wednesday. - kbz
