Robert Maurice McMaken, 77, retired vice president of the Elston Bank and Trust Company, Crawfordsville, Ind died at 1:25 o’clock this afternoon at his home, 1008 23rd Avenue North. H ehad been a winter visitor here since 1927 and had made this his permanent home for the past 14 years. Mr. McMaken was a member of the Montgomery Lodge No 50, F&AM, Crawfordsville Chapter NO 40; RAM; Montgomery County No 34, R&SM; Crawfordsville Camp No 25 KT, Athens Chapter; OES Chapter 97 and the First Avenue Methodist Church of this city. He was graduated from the Wabash College of Crawfordsville. The wife, Mrs. Stella W. McMaken, survives. Arrangements are to be announced later by the Palms Memorial. - kbz
