Waynetown – Louis McMains, 88 who had resided at the Wayne Hotel here for the past five months died at 6 am. Thursday in Culver Hospital, Crawfordsville where he was taken Sunday after he sustained a broken hip in a fall on the stairs of the hotel. A native of Vermilion County, Illinois, Mr. McMains came to Waynetown from Florida. He also had lived at Crawfordsville. He married the former Sarah Guyer who preceded him in death. Surviving are two brothers, Dr. Harrison McMains of Orlando, Fla and Ben McMains of Champaign, Ill and two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Hall of Waynetown and Mrs. Elsie Ramsdell of LaPorte. - kz
