McMains - Anderson

Word has been received of the death of Anderson McMains at the home of his son, Guy McMains of Baker, California on Wednesday afternoon December 27. The body will be brought here for burial, arriving Tuesday January 2. Mr. McMains left here last fall to spend the winter with his son Guy at Baker. The news of his death comes as a great shock to his many friends here, where he has lived for a number of years. His wife preceded him in death several years ago. Mr. McMains is survived by 8 children: Guy of Baker; Halden of California; Harrison of Baltimore; Lewis of Indianapolis; Benjamin and Mrs. Nora Creighton of Rossville, ill; Mrs. Edgar Hall of Waynetown and Mrs. LeRoy Rememstein of clinton, Iowa. Funeral arrangement will be announced upon the arrival of the body. - transcribed by kbz
