Mayor Stilwell and wife were called to Covington Monday by the death of Mrs. Stilwell’s brother, Timothy B. McMahon. Mr. McMahon committed suicide Sunday morning by swallowing two ounces of carbolic acid. No reason can be assigned for the rash act, as he was apparently enjoying health and prosperity. -s
