Source: The obituary is from a collection by Fauniel Hershberger, saved the 1950's, 60's and 70's. She was a life long resident of Fountain County Indiana.  The collection is now housed at Crawfordsville District Public Library.

Newtown --- Funeral services were held Monday, Jan. 14, at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro for Mrs. Hanna McKnight, age 85, a longtime resident of the community, who died at 7:35 p. m. Friday, Jan. 11, at her home after an extended illness. Born on Nov. 7, 1877, in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Elizabeth Ludlow Sheaffer. She was married to I. L. McKnight on Jan. 1, 1901. He preceded her in death in 1958. The couple resided in the Newtown community during most of their married life. She was a member of the Newtown Presbyterian Church. Surviving are: a son, Stuart of Wingate; a daughter, Mrs. Robert Martin of near Newtown; a sister, Mrs. Harry Greenburg of near Wingate; two brothers, Lawrence of Crawfordsville and Charles of Ellenburg, Wash.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.  --typed by Walt W

Mrs. Hannah McKnight, 85, longtime resident of the Newtown community, died at 7:35 .p.m. Friday, Jan. 11, 1963, at her home after an extended illness.
Born on Nov. 7, 1877 in Montgomery County, she was the daughter of Samuel and Mary Elizabeth Ludlow Sheaffer.  She
was married to I. L. McKnight on Jan. 1, 1901.  He preceded her in death in 1958.
The couple resided in the Newtown community during most of their married life.  She was a member of the Newtown Presbyterian Church.
Surviving are: a son, Stuart, of Wingate; one daughter, Mrs. Robert Martin of near Newtown; a sister, Mrs. Harry Greenberg, of near Wingate; two brothers, Lawrence, of Crawfordsville, and Charles, of Ellenburg, Washington; five grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
Services were held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro with burial in Newtown Cemetery.  - jz
