NEWTOWN — Miss Georgia McKinney, 65, died Thursday morning at the hospital in Westminster Gardens at Duarte, Calif. where she had been a patient for several weeks. She was born March 8, 1892, near Newtown, the daughter of Charles and Mary Miller McKinney. She attended Newtown High School, graduating from Winona Lake High School in 1911 and from Wooster College at Wooster, Ohio in 1915. In 1916 she went to Tabriz, Iran, where she served for 33 years as a missionary for the Board of Foreign Missions of the Presbyterian Church, retiring in 1949. She moved to California in 1950 and at the time of her death was a resident of the Westminster Gardens, a home for retired missionaries at Duarte which has been given to the Presbyterian Board of Foreign Missions by a wealthy Chinese. She is survived by two sisters, Mrs. Leigh Wright of West Lafayette and Mrs. Fern Rowlett, Cleveland, Ohio, eight nieces and nephews. Lawrence McKinney of Newtown is a nephew and Mrs. H. G. Quirk is a cousin. The body will be cremated and returned to Newtown for burial in the McKinney Cemetery located on the farm where she was born.  --typed by Walt W
