McKey - Guy E

  Guy E. McKey, son of George A. McKey, of this city, died at 7 o'clock Wednesday evening at the home of his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. F.M. Bushong, at Thorntown, after an illness of nine months, with malaria fever and other complications.
  After service of nearly three years with Company C, First battalion of the Engineering Corps, U.S.A., in the Philippines, he arrived at Washington and was sent to the hospital, suffering from malaria contracted in the service.  At the expiration of his enlistment he returned to Indiana, since which time he has been cared for at the home of his father in this city and his grandparents at Thorntown.
  Guy E,. McKey was born in Thorntown, August 21, 1889.  His mother died when he was quite young and he made his home with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Bushong, until his enlistment in the army.  The funeral will be conducted from the home of Mr, and Mrs. Bushong, by Revs. Buckles and Kruwell, and the burial will be at Thorntown. - thanks to Kim H
