HILLSBORO — Dr. Arthur D. McKey, 74, for 47 years a dentist in Hillsboro, died Saturday at 8:30 p. m. at his home. He collapsed while using a power lawn mower in his back yard and was found by his wife. Dr. Persons of Veedersburg was summoned and said that Mr. McKey had died instantly of a heart attack. He was the son of Dr. Richard and Rev. Sarah Powell McKey and was born Aug. 23, 1882 near Marshall. He was married to Miss Joy Miller of Hillsboro in 1912. Dr. McKey was a former director of the Indiana Dental Assn., and a former president of the Ben Hur Dental Society of Crawfordsville. He was still active in his profession until his death and had worked all day in his office Saturday. A member of the Bloomingdale Friends Church and the Hillsboro Masonic Lodge, he had formerly taught high school. Dr. McKey was a graduate of Indiana University and the Indiana Dental College. He is survived by his wife and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at the Crumley Funeral Home in Hillsboro Monday, at 2 p. m. Burial will be in the Rose Hill Cemetery. --typed by Walt W

HILLSBORO — Rev. Homer Cole, pastor of the Hillsboro Christian Church, officiated at the funeral service held at the Crumley Funeral Home Monday afternoon for Dr. Arthur D. McKey, 74, who died suddenly Saturday evening. Pallbearers who also served as flower bearers were Marion Osborn, Charles Belles, Lyron Ford, Ernest Myer, Walter Ford, of Waynetown and Jim Richards of Goodland. Burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery at Hillsboro. Organ music was by Mrs. Crumley. Hal Desmond, a nephew of Mrs. McKey, of Racine, Wis., sang "Abide With Me," accompanied by Mrs. Eugenia Williams of Florida. --typed by Walt W
