McKessy - John (Murdered)

Lafayette, Ind., March 27—Capt. Daniel Drew was acquitted of the murder of John McKessy, August 3, 1887, Thursday. The crime was committed at Drew’s home during a drunken debauch. Drew was convicted of the crime and given a life sentence, but the Supreme Court gave him a new trial. -s
