VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) --- Ransom McKee, 82, a retired farmer, was found dead at 8:45 today (May 3, 1969) at his home on Veedersburg Route 1. Death was attributed to natural causes and he had been ill for several months. Born Jan. 8, 1887, in Indiana, he was the son of John and Armenda McKee. He was married to Retta Roberts, who survives and is a patient at the Alward Nursing Home in Attica. Other survivors include a brother, Lee of Oakwood, Ill.; and a sister, Mrs. Ura Hines of Lafayette. The body is at the J. Fred Parham Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete.  --typed by Walt W


VEEDERSBURG, Ind. (CNS) -- Services for Ransom McKee, 82, will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Parham Funeral Home with the Rev. Alfred Dobbs officiating. Burial will be in Rockfield Cemetery. Friends will be received after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home. Coroner Robert Shelby said death was due to carbon monoxide poisoning. Mr. McKee was found dead in his car in his garage Saturday.
