Laura Jane McKamey, 64 of 1418 Virginia Street died at 2 o’clock Thursday afternoon at the Home Hospital. Mrs. McKamey was born in Montgomery County Dep 24, 1873 and married William McKamey in 1901. The couple moved to Lafayette 11 years ago from the Gladdens Corner region. She was a member of the Concord UB Church. Surviving are the husband; a daughter, Miss Gladys McKamey at home; three sisters, Mrs. Rosa Pennock of Crawfordsville; Mrs. Delia Pritchett of Columbus and three brothers, Ollie Clark of Indianapolis and Arthur and Carl Clark of Crawfordsville. Friends may call at the family residence after 5 o’clock Friday afternoon. Services in charge of the Baker Funeral Home will be conducted from the Concord UB Church at 2 o’clock Sunday afternoon with burial in Concord cemetery. ~~~Transcribed and Typed by kbz
