The Crawfordsville Police Department early Wednesday afternoon said it had been notified by Montgomery County Coroner Fred M. Blix, that Mrs. Norma Jean McIntyre, 19 had been found dead at her home, 607 Whitloc Ave. She was the wife of Thomas E. McIntyre. The coroner said he had not determined whether the death was intentional or accidental, but requested that a police officer be sent to assist with the investigation. Dr. Blix said death was caused by an overdose of sleeping tablets. The coroner reported he was notified of the death by a Crawfordsville physician who was summoned to the residence when the girl was found. The police said the coroner believed Mrs. McIntyre's death occurred about 11:45 a.m. Police said the girl had been married about 10 days. They said her name formerly was Miss Norma Jean Wills.
