James McIntyre, one of the oldest and best known citizens of Montgomery County, died last night at ten o’clock after a long and painful siege of grip and complications. Mr. McIntyre was born and raised in Kentucky but has resided in this county on his farm west of the city for many years. He held the office of county commissioner for two terms and it was during this time that the present court house was built. He was a prominent and uncompromising Democrat and a member of the Methodist Church. He leaves quite an estate to be divided among his heirs, a wife and three children. He was sixty nine years old. The funeral will occur tomorrow at two o’clock at Wesley
