It was with surprise and sorrow the public learned that last Friday of the death of Mrs. Marshall McIntyre which occurred shortly after midnight at her home on Fremont street. She had been ill but her condition was not considered alarming. Death was due to a complication of troubles. The deceased was an excellent Christian woman, a member of the First Presbyterian Church and a leader in church and charitable work. It was largely through her efforts that the East End, Memorial Chapel was built. Mrs. McIntyre leaves a husband and five children, the youngest an infant three weeks old. The sympathies of the entire community go out to the bereaved husband and motherless children. – kbz
