Helen McIntire, 63, Danville, Ind., died 5:02 p.m. Sunday in her residence.
Mrs. McIntire was a secretary at Lee Comer Abstract and Title Company, Danville, for 10 years before retiring in 2003. She also worked at Danville area banks for 20 years.
She was a graduate of the former Granville Wells High School, Advance.
She was born Sept. 17, 1941, at Lebanon, to Orville and Geneva Hiland Ragsdale. She married James Franklin McIntire Nov. 5, 1960, at New Brunswick. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Frank Jay (Angel), Danville, Ind.; two daughters, Jane N. (Jerry) McClees, Pittsboro, and Joann K. (Michael) Nale, Danville, Ind.; two brothers, Allen (Janice) Ragsdale, Waynetown, and Robert (Elaine) Ragsdale, Bicknell, Ind.; four sisters, Judy (Dane) Walker, Lebanon, Eileen (Don) Whitaker, Brownsburg, Sharon Blackwell, Pleasanton, Calif., and Janet (Harold) Hussong, Avon; six grandchildren; and four stepgrandchildren.
Funeral services are scheduled 10:30 a.m. Thursday in Northview Christian Church, 623 N. Indiana 39, Danville. Burial will be in Knights of Pythias Cemetery, Lizton.
Friends may call 3-8 p.m. Wednesday in Myers Chapel of Memories, 1502 N. Lebanon St., Lebanon.
