McMains - Sarah Zachary

Mrs. Sarah Ellen McMains died at her home here last Friday afternoon aft er an illness extending over a period of five years. Mrs. McMains lived her entire married-life in Waveland where she reared her family and acti ve in the Church until failing health forbade further activity. She w as a loyal devoted wife and mother and her works surely will follow her. She was married to Jess McMains Dec. 22, 1888 at Tuscola, Illinois and shor tly thereafter they moved to Waveland. Surviving besides her husband, a daughter, Mrs. Bert Perkins of Alamo and a son, Paul of Whitewater, Wisconsi n, and one brother, Harmon Zachary of Waveland. The funeral was conduct ed by her pastor, Rev. C. N. McBrayer at the Church Sunday afternoon. Buri al was at Mt. Moriah Cemetery. - typed by kbz
