Last week William H. McKINSEY of this place went to
Harrodsburg, a small place in Monroe County on the Monon where he
had secured work as a teamster. On Friday, the second day he was
there, while hauling a load of logs, one of the wheels of the
wagon gave way. In jumping off, he caught his foot in the boom
pole and was thrown heavily to the ground, alighting on his head
and shoulders. Paralysis resulted but he lingered on til SUnday
when he died. The body was brought here on Monday and interred at
Old Union Cemetery, after funeral services at the home conducted
by Rev. WT Cuppy. Mr. McKinzie (sic) was 38 years of age and
leaves a wife and 8 children in very limited
circumstances. - typed by kbz
