Wallace -- Lloyd C. McKee a carpenter died at 4:40 p.m. Monday June 12,
1961. He had worked the day at the Priebe farm North of Waveland,
Indiana and after quitting at 4:30 he gathered his tools and was
preparing to leave for home when he keeled over in the yars. He
was a member of the Wallace Christian Church. Mr. McKee was born
Jan 29, 1905 at Wallace and lived most of his life in that
community. On May 4, 1929, he was married to Helen Wendall in
Covington. She survives. Other survivors include a daughter,
Mrs. Barbara Wills of Syracuse, Ind; 3 grandsons; 4 half sisters
and two half brothers. THe body is at the Crumley Funeral Home
where friends will be received Wednesday afternoon and evening.
Services will be there at 2 p.m. Thursday, Rev. John Servies of
Crawfordsville will officiate with burial in the Lutheran
Cemetery at Crawfordsville.
