Mrs. Effie Belle McKee, 97 died at the Tall Trees Nursing Home, Covington at 5:39 a.m. Friday, July 20, 1973. She had been in failing health since January. Born Nov 13, 1875, in Jackson Twp near Wallace, she was the daughter of Solomon and Elizabeth Day Livengood. She was married to Albert E. McKee Nov 13, 1897 who died in 1951. Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mildred Doane of Covingtona nd Mrs. Marie Carter of Veedersburg; 3 grandch; 9 greats. two great greats, two nephews and 3 nieces. A son, 3 brothers and a sister preceded her in death. Mrs. McKee was a member of the Wallace Lutheran Church, past matron of the Wllace OES 415 and Wallace Cobalistic Club. Friends will be rec'd after 4 p.m Saturday in Hegg Funeral Home, Covington Serv will be at 2 p.m. Sudnay at the Funeral Home with Rev. Harold Fogle offic. Eastern Star memorial serv. by the Wallace Chapter will be at 8 p.m. Saurdayt. Burial in Wallace Lutheran Cemetery.
