Francis May McGinnis, 72, of 521 Valley Drive, died at 4:10 a.m. Sunday in Culver Hospital. Mrs. McGinnis was formerly employed by Putnam County Hospital and Culver Hospital as a nurse’s aide. She was a member of Milligan Memorial Presbyterian Church and the Social Circle Club of Fillmore. She was educated in Martinsville. Born Sept. 10, 1908, at Martinsville, she was a daughter of Harry and Blanche Wagner Haase. In 1936, she married Lloyd McGinnis, who preceded her in death. She is survived by a son, Larry McGinnis of Crawfordsville; her stepmother, Geraldine Haase of Martinsville; and two grandchildren Lisa and Mark McGinnis. She was preceded in death by a brother. Services are at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Hunt & Son Funeral Home with the Rev. Mark Strothman officiating. Burial will be in Fillmore Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today. --smc
