Philip McGill, a former resident of Waveland, died in Crawfordsville Friday night. He was born in the neighborhood of Portland Mills. His first wife was a Miss Esther Buchanon and they lived in the house on W. Main now owned by Mrs. John Isaacs. They moved to Nebraska where Mrs. McGill died. For the past 26 years he has lived in Montgomery County. A brother, Benjamin McGill lives at Portland Mills. He was a soldier in the Civil War. - kbz
