McGILL, Anna Bennett - Montgomery InGenWeb Project

Mrs. Anna McGill of Dana, age 84, died Friday morning, September 11, in Vermillion County Hospital at Clinton. She was born north of Dana, December 14, 1896, the daughter of Joseph and Julia Milligan Bennett. April 1912, she married Charles McGill, who preceded her in death in 1968. Mrs. McGill was a member of Dana United Methodist Church and a 50-year member of the Rebekah Lodge.

  Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Mary Ellen Jackson of Kingman, Mrs. Donna Harrison of Zionsville and Mrs. Charlene Stewart of California; a son, Charles Jr. of Dana; a brother, Francis Bennett of Dana; several grandchildren and great grandchildren. Three daughters also preceded her in death.

  Funeral services were held Monday morning at Overpeck Funeral Home in Dana with Rev. Nan Chizmar officiating. Burial was in the Thomas Cemetery at Newport. – thanks to S
