Mrs. Irene McGAUGHEY, 71, died Oct 31, 1962 at Masonic Home in Franklin. She had been ill for some time and was taken to the home in March. The daughter of William and Ellen Barton she was born April 29, 1891 in Waveland. She was married in 1909 to Bert Murray and in 1936 to Lou McGaughey who preceded her in death. Mrs. McGaughey was a member of Order of Eastern Star and Pythian Sisters, American Legion Auxiliary and Federated Church of Russellville. Survivors include a son, Dean Murray; a daugther, Mrs. Maxine Harbinson; six grandchildren, two greats and two sisters, Mrs. Sadie Murphy and Mrs. Ina Durham. Funeral services were held 2 p.m. Saturday at the Russellville Federated Church; burial in Russellville Cemetery. - transcribed by kbz
